today was driver training.  cars are complex, like, they involve physics which is beyond me (I studied psychology, so like, err, give me time to get my working memory around all those moving parts).

I promise I am going to write every day, or eat many snacks trying.

I also promise that I'll be home on 24 June - even if Cairns wants to keep me, which I imagine it will because once it meets me fully it will need me forever.
